Always has been the best!! August 7, 2008 I am 32 years old. I remember as a child my twin brother went away camping, and my mother packed a bottle of Skin So Soft body oil (the original product) by avon in his bag. Bugs loved my twin brother for some reason (even in the house every summer. He would have huge bites every summer on his body. He was allergic so the bite spots would swell up), but bugs would not go near him on that particular camping trip-after applying the oil. This was back in the 90's late 80's, before Avon started making "Insect Repellent". So of course this particular product was inspired from the original Skin So Soft product. Today as an adult & mother, I work with kids, and my class (4 & 5 year olds)recently went to a park for a field trip (huge park, wooded, grassy, lots of trees), and one of my students had this spray. He said his mom loves it for him & his brother. Its great because it is good for the skin (DEET free), has sun block, fragrance free, water proof, & bugs stay faaar away from you. I even asked him if I can have some to spray on me. I am about to get a can of the spray for my 2 kids!! Great product, always has been. Must have product for the entire family.
Excellent Repellent, Worked great for camping July 30, 2008 This is an excellent product, I highly recommend it, don't listen to all the pissed off people who didn't get their Avon orders for free and are just venting as they wouldn't be able to tell you how great this product was. I went camping and not a single bite, didn't even see mosquitoes around me. The smell is pleasant also unlike other DEET products I've used.
Best Spray for dual purpose July 29, 2008 This product is awesome. It is a bug guard this keeps all the bugs and mosquitoes away, and it also keeps the skin smooth and soft. No irritations. Nice product.
Great Product July 28, 2008 This spray does what it says it will do. It keeps the bugs away, as bugs tend to bug me a lot. It works better than other sprays I have bought at Retail stores and it does not smell as bad as some of them (DEET). I would recommend it.
What was the promo? July 9, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
When I came across this purchase, I thought it may had been a mistake. I searched high and low to find out what the promo was prior to placing an order.
There was no documentation anywhere explaining what the promo was, nor has Avon communicated what the promo was intended to be. Can someone ... Amazon ... Avon ... customers ... explain what the promo was?
Publicity stunt?
