1 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed!   December 22, 2008
I was not impressed with the I Am or Sasha Fierce Album. I am.... is an okay album. It does show more of her range but can take at least 15 listens to really appreciate it. There are only 2 (in my opinion) instant hits, which are Halo and If I Were A Boy. Sasha Fierce is not a good album at all. I only like Scared of Lonely and Put a Ring on it. She is really trying to get street cred, and failed at doing so. She is not from the streets and just b/c your husband at one point in time was part of the streets, does not make her able to pull it off. Better luck on album 4. I will listen to the other 2 albums and wait for a better effort from Beyonce.

4 out of 5 stars Wow Beyonce, just wow!   November 29, 2008
I've always known about Beyonce... she's been hovering in my orbit for years now but never has she touched down like she has with this album. I loved her in Dreamgirls and "Get me Bodied" makes this late 20something white-boy body do crazy things on the dancefloor. Last week when this album could be streamed over AOL a friend of mine and I listened with our mouths gaping open. She completly blew us away. The concept is great with the two disks but like most two disks it should have been condensed into one but out of all these songs there is very few filler. I beleive what she was trying to do with this concept was start it off with a broken girl, and as the disk progreses its like the Pheonix emerges from the ashes. To finish the album with "Scared of Lonely" was just brillient (as was the concept of the "If I Were a Boy" video).. it shows a strong woman with vunerability. Pop art doesnt really get any better than this and not since Madonna can I listen and look at an entertainer and think "wow, this girl's a superstar". Beyonce, you've come a long way girl and you're only getting better.

5 out of 5 stars B is Back!   November 24, 2008

I'll be completely honest, when I first heard there was going to be a 2 disc album one for Beyonce and one for Sasha (Fierce). I was extremely skeptical, I mean how can any artist showcase their alter ego, but somehow Beyonce pulled it off brilliantly. I am... or Disc one is the more down to earth Beyonce that shows off a different side we have yet to hear thus far, this one is more for the listeners that want to hear the ballads to mid tempos. while Sasha Fierce allowed B to be more edgy and street than we have heard before. To me with this album she appeased every fan, and I absolutely love it.

5 out of 5 stars Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce Album   November 23, 2008
suprisingly good album!

I recommend all of Disc I, and from Disc II: radio, vidoe phone, smash into you, and that's why you're beautiful (very pretty)

it's worth paying the $3 extra for the deluxe ablbum

good album Beyonce!
